Steam’s Cooking Fest 2026 serves up game deals with savings of up to 90%
Steam has launched its 'Cooking Fest 2026,' offering significant discounts on culinary-themed video games. The promotion includes popular titles like Cooking Simulator and Overcooked! and runs through October 19.
Why it matters
The event highlights the ongoing trend of themed digital storefront sales that drive engagement within the PC gaming community.
With the Steam Autumn Sale now over, Valve is moving straight into another themed promotion for PC gamers. Steam Cooking Fest is now underway, offering discounts on games centered around preparing meals, managing restaurants, and surviving the occasional kitchen disaster. The event runs until October 19, giving players a week to pick up some culinary-themed favorites at reduced prices.
Valve has also continued its recent approach of announcing sales and events well in advance, helping developers prepare their promotions and giving players a clearer picture of what's coming to the storefront. As usual, Cooking Fest arrives with a tongue-in-cheek trailer hosted by Kaci Aitchison, showcasing some of the games featured in this week's event.
