Stan Just Got Another Price Increase And A New Ad Supported Tier

Australian streaming service Stan has overhauled its subscription plans, introducing an ad-supported basic tier while increasing prices for standard and premium tiers. The changes take effect immediately for new sign-ups and will roll out to existing subscribers in September 2026.

Stan has announced a total plan overhaul that is in effect starting now. The basic tier is going down from $12 a month to $9.99 per month (what it used to be a few years ago), but will now include ads, stream in HD and have no downloads. Standard is going up to $17.99 a month ($1 a month increase) and allows for streaming in HD with no ands, the ability to watch on 2 screens at once and download onto 2 devices, and Premium is now $23.99 a month ($2 price increase per month) and allows for streaming in 4K, with no ads, the ability to watch on 4 screens at once and download onto 4 devices.…
