'Stalked, hit deliberately': Delhi woman claims bikers chased her scooty before crash

NEW DELHI: Delhi Police has registered a case and launched a probe after a 21-year-old woman alleged that two unidentified men riding a motorcycle stalked and harassed her before hitting her scooter near South Delhi’s Panchsheel Metro Station on Sept 12. She claimed to have fallen down on impact and suffered injuries.In her complaint, the woman, who works at an office in Saket, said she left work around midnight on Sept 11 and was riding home on her scooter. While crossing Hauz Khas and approaching Panchsheel Metro Station, she alleged that two men, apparently in their twenties, began passing remarks at her and then started following her on their motorcycle.She said she tried to escape by speeding ahead, but the men continued to chase her, came alongside her scooter and kept passing remarks. Then, they allegedly hit her scooter with their bike, causing her to lose control and fall.
