St. John’s isn’t in the path of totality, but residents of the easternmost portion of the island will be able to experience a partial solar eclipse next month.
Spain, Portugal and Iceland will experience a total eclipse, while in St. John’s, the moon will block slightly more than half of the sun’s disk as it passes between the Earth and Sun.
