St. Aloysius to host three-day Monsoon Theatre Festival from Friday
St. Aloysius University in Mangaluru is hosting a three-day Monsoon Theatre Festival from July 17 to July 19. The event will feature a variety of performances, including children's plays, dance theatre, and contemporary drama, with free entry for the public.

The Ranga Adhyayana Kendra of St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University) is organising a 3-day “Monsoon Theatre Festival – 2026” from July 17 to July 19 featuring children’s theatre, dance theatre, a musical theatre production and contemporary drama.
All performances will be held at the LCRI Auditorium, St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru, beginning at 6.30 p.m. every day. Entry is free for all performances.
On July 17, the children’s play “Manavapura” will be presented by the participants of the Ranginata Theatre Camp of Arehole Pratishthana, followed by the dance theatre production “Barkurina Hadg” by Nandagokula Kalavidaru.
The musical theatre production “Ragasandhana,“ conceived by Ravindra Gururaj Katoti and directed by Vidwan Korgi Shankaranarayana Upadhyaya, will be staged on July 18. The production features renowned Hindustani vocalist Sidhartha Belmannu, who will sing as well as perform in the play.
