According to a press release, the ₹1.3-crore vehicle is equipped with two ECG machines and three echocardiogram machines. Sponsored by four Rotary clubs, the unit will visit residential communities, corporate organisations, and institutions to facilitate early detection of cardiac conditions and timely intervention during emergencies.
A team of medical and paramedical professionals will conduct screenings and provide consultations, with those requiring further evaluation referred to the hospital. The initiative will also focus on raising awareness about regular heart screening, particularly among people at higher risk of cardiac conditions, the release said.
