Sri Lankan ruling party delegation to visit India, meet BJP leaders

A five-member delegation of Sri Lanka’s ruling Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) will be in India for a five-day visit from September 27 to October 1, 2026. The delegation is led by JVP general secretary Tilvin Silva.
Apart from Mr. Silva, the JVP’s central committee member Chandrika Adikari, Member of Parliament Aboobucker Athambawa, district committee member Kabilan Suntharamoorthy, and member of international department Kalpana Madhubhashini, will be part of the delegation.
