The Kerala government has sanctioned ₹90 crore for the construction of a permanent academic and administrative complex for Sreenarayanaguru Open University (SGOU).
According to Higher Education Minister Roji M. John, the university, which began functioning in 2020 and is presently operating from rented premises, will soon have its own state-of-the-art four-storey campus spread across 16,864 square metres.
The new complex will feature modern classrooms, a high-tech office system, advanced electrical installations, fire safety infrastructure and comprehensive water supply facilities.
