Spurs to start Fox, Castle, Harper, Vassell, Wembanyama
The San Antonio Spurs have announced a new starting lineup featuring DeAaron Fox, Stephon Castle, Dylan Harper, Devin Vassell, and Victor Wembanyama. Analysts are debating the team's roster construction, specifically noting that the guard-heavy lineup may lack the size needed to support Wembanyama.
Why it matters
This lineup change signals a strategic shift for the Spurs as they integrate young talent and attempt to optimize their roster around their franchise cornerstone, Victor Wembanyama.

Spurs to start Fox, Castle, Harper, Vassell, Wembanyama
The San Antonio Spurs will start DeAaron Fox, Stephon Castle, Dylan Harper, Devin Vassell, and Victor Wembanyama on Friday against the Kings.
Jeff McDonald also reported that coach Mitch Johnson intends to use this starting lineup on Tuesday against the Thunder. The Spurs will use their three guard lineup with Champagnie and Harris coming off the bench. We’ll see if the starting lineup sticks that way beyond this upcoming Tuesday, but you can feel good to draft Vassell to stream him in on opening night.
