Spine surgeons conference under way in Chennai
Approximately 800 spine surgeons from 16 countries have gathered in Chennai for a joint conference hosted by MISSA Bharat and PASMISS. The event focuses on the integration of technology and medicine to advance minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Around 800 spine surgeons from 16 countries are participating in the annual conference of the Minimally Invasive Spine Surgeons Association of Bharat (MISSA Bharat), being held jointly with the Pacific and Asian Society of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgeons (PASMISS) in Chennai, from July 23 to 26.
The conference was inaugurated by V. Kamakoti, Director of IIT Madras, who said the future of healthcare lies in integrating technology, engineering, and medicine to develop affordable, personalised and predictive healthcare solutions tailored to India’s needs.
