Special trains between Madurai and Rameswaram for Aadi Tirukalyanam festival

Southern Railway is introducing special unreserved express trains between Madurai and Rameswaram to accommodate pilgrims attending the Aadi Tirukalyanam festival. The services will operate on August 11 and 12 to manage increased passenger traffic.

Southern Railway will operate one pair of unreserved express special train between Madurai Junction and Rameswaram in view of Aadi Tirukalyanam festival at Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy Temple at Rameswaram.
Train No.06103 Madurai Junction - Rameswaram unreserved special will leave Madurai Junction at 11 p.m. on August 11 (Tuesday) and arrive at Rameswaram at 2.30 a.m. the next day, a statement said.
The train will stop at Madurai East, Tiruppuvanam, Manamadurai, Paramakkudi and Ramanathapuram.
Train No.06104 Rameswaram- Madurai Junction unreserved special will leave Rameswaram at 3 a.m. on August 12 (Wednesday) and arrive Madurai Junction at 6 a.m. on the same day.
The train will stop Ramanathapuram, Paramakkudi and Manamadurai.
