Special train services between Tirupati, Mantralayam Road for RRB candidates

The South Coast Railway is operating special train services between Tirupati and Mantralayam Road from August 2-6 to accommodate candidates taking RRB examinations. Regular passengers are also encouraged to utilize these additional services.
Why it matters
This demonstrates logistical support provided by state infrastructure to facilitate large-scale public examinations.
To assist candidates appearing for the RRB examinations, the South Coast Railway (SCoR) will operate five trips of Jansadharan special trains between Tirupati and Mantralayam Road from August 2-6.
The train will have eight general class and two second-class sitting-cum-luggage coaches. Along with the RRB candidates, regular passenger are requested to make use of these facilities, the SCoR officials stated in a release.
Tirupati-Manthralayam Road Jansadharan special express train will leave Tirupati at 11 p.m. on each day and it will reach Manthralayam Road on next day at 8 a.m. However, Manthralayam Road-Tirupati train will leave Manthralayam Road at 5 p.m. and it will reach Tirupati next day by 2 a.m.
