Special medical camp held for salt pan workers in Thoothukudi

The Thoothukudi district administration is conducting a series of special medical camps to provide health screenings for salt pan workers. These camps offer services across various medical specialties and refer patients to government hospitals for further care.

The district administration is organising the medical camps for the benefit of salt pan workers and the first of the series was organised at Arumuganeri in Tiruchendur Taluk, Siluvaipatti in Thoothukudi Taluk and Vaippar in Vilaaththikulam Taluk on August 4.
The second camp was organised at Pazhayakaayal in Eral Taluk, Mulakkaadu in Thoothukudi Taluk and Melmaanthai in Vilaaththikulam Taluk on August 12.
On Tuesday, the medical camps were organised at Mela Sernthamangalam in Tiruchendur Taluk, SPIC Nagar in Thoothukudi Taluk and Periyasamypuram in Vilaaththikulam Taluk.
