Special medical camps for salt pan workers were conducted here on Tuesday.

The district administration is organising the medical camps for the benefit of salt pan workers and the first of the series was organised at Arumuganeri in Tiruchendur Taluk, Siluvaipatti in Thoothukudi Taluk and Vaippar in Vilaaththikulam Taluk on August 4.

The second camp was organised at Pazhayakaayal in Eral Taluk, Mulakkaadu in Thoothukudi Taluk and Melmaanthai in Vilaaththikulam Taluk on August 12.

On Tuesday, the medical camps were organised at Mela Sernthamangalam in Tiruchendur Taluk, SPIC Nagar in Thoothukudi Taluk and Periyasamypuram in Vilaaththikulam Taluk.
