MANILA, Philippines - President Marcos has declared special holidays in two cities in Batangas for the commemoration of their cityhood anniversaries next month.
Proclamations 1408 and 1409 declared Sept. 3 and 7 special non-working days in Calaca and Sto. Tomas, respectively.
"The holidays will give residents a full opportunity to participate in and enjoy activities lined up for the celebration," Malaca ang said.
Executive Secretary Ralph Recto signed the proclamations on Aug. 26 by the authority of the President.
