A special camp to enrol eligible voters who were left out during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process will be held in all booths here on October 10 (Saturday).

According to a tahsildar, the Election Commission of India has instructed enrolment of qualified persons through Form 6, without any caveats. When asked if there was any categorisation of “ex-voters” who missed out voting in the recently concluded Assembly elections and seeking enrolment now, the tahsildar said there were no such categorisation. “All that is needed is age proof and address proof, through a single Form 6.” This comes after the Supreme Court clarified that it had not approved any revisions to Form 6.
