Speaker leaves for Tanzania to attend IPU Assembly

A Bangladeshi parliamentary delegation led by Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmad has traveled to Tanzania to attend the 153rd Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly. The delegation will participate in discussions focused on good governance, inclusivity, and community empowerment.

He departed from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 2:30pm, according to the Parliament Secretariat.
The Speaker is leading a parliamentary delegation comprising seven other BNP lawmakers and two Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami lawmakers.
