UPDATE (6:51 p.m.)- SpaceX successfully launched its Falcon 9 rocket at approximately 6:50 p.m. on Saturday——ORIGINAL STORY: SpaceX is targeting Saturday, August 15, for the launch of the U.S. Space Force’s USSF-366 mission from Vandenberg Space Force Base.Liftoff is scheduled for some time between 2:52 p.m. and 6:52 p.m. The mission will mark the 18th flight of the Falcon 9’s first-stage booster, which has previously supported launches including NROL-126, Transporter-12, SPHEREx, NROL-57 and 13 Starlink missions.After separating from the upper stage, the booster is expected to attempt another landing on SpaceX’s Of Course I Still Love You droneship in the Pacific Ocean.SpaceX will begin its live webcast approximately 10 minutes before liftoff: https://www.spacex.com/launches/ussf366
