The Gurajada Samskrutika Samakhya President M. Venkateswara Rao and General Secretary Kapuganti Prakash said that noted film actor Sowkar Janaki would continue to inspire with her great thoughts and deeds.
In a condolence meeting on Saturday (August 22, 2026), they offered tributes to Janaki, who died of ill health at the age of 94 years in Chennai on August 21. Mr. Prakash said that Janaki had received Gurajada Sahithi Puraskaram on November 30, 2006 and continued to interact with the members of the association for the last 20 years.
