Southern Railway clinch 61st All India Railway Ball Badminton title; SCoR finish runners-up

Southern Railway won the 61st All India Railway Ball Badminton Championship after defeating South Coast Railway in the final. The three-day tournament was held in Visakhapatnam to promote fitness and camaraderie among railway employees.

Southern Railway clinched the championship title at the 61st All India Railway Ball Badminton Championship, defeating South Coast Railway (SCoR) 2-0 in the final at the Railway Ball Badminton Courts here on Saturday.
South Coast Railway finished runners-up, while Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai, secured third place in the three-day tournament.
Organised by the South Coast Railway Sports Association (SCORSA) from August 20 to 22, the championship featured eight zonal railway teams from across the country.
South Coast Railway General Manager Sandeep Mathur, who was the chief guest at the concluding ceremony, presented trophies to the winning teams and outstanding performers. Kalai Selvan was adjudged the Star Player, while Rajesh of Southern Railway received the Best Player award.
