Soundboks Rider Party Speaker Review: Loud and Durable

The Soundboks Rider is a high-performance, durable portable Bluetooth speaker capable of reaching 118 decibels. While it offers impressive sound quality and build, it is expensive and likely overkill for the average consumer.
Why it matters
It provides a consumer-focused evaluation of high-end audio hardware, helping buyers determine if the premium price is justified for their specific needs.

WIRED Gets very loud for its size. Clear, detailed sound. Very durable build. Swappable battery. IP66 dust and waterproof. TIRED Expensive. Overkill for many. Single hand-carry grip. Pricey strap sold separately. How loud is too loud? That's the question I find myself asking as I turn up the volume dial on the Soundboks Rider portable Bluetooth speaker . By myself, outdoors, a five or six on the dial is plenty loud; anything more starts to get uncomfortable. But this speaker can push out a ridiculous 118-decibel sound pressure level (dB SPL). That's basically a rock concert.
