The former Generations star, known for playing Queen Moroka, spoke at the ME Time Women Empowerment Event at Sun City on Saturday, 5 September.
Sophie told women: “Sometimes you have to lose everything to find yourself again.
“I went from a woman who was making a million a month to more a month. I was making money since I was 17. So. by the time I lost everything in just over a month, I lost over R14 million in a month.”
She said seeing R6 000 in her bank account shocked her.
