Teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi endured a difficult start to his international career during India's T20I series against England in July 2026. The 15-year-old, who arrived with huge expectations after his record-breaking IPL season, managed scores of 14, 13 and 15 in his first three T20I innings. On debut at Old Trafford, he scored 14 off 10 balls, including two sixes, before being stumped off Will Jacks. He followed it up with a brisk 13 off five balls at Trent Bridge in India's batting collapse and then made 15 off 10 at Bristol.Chasing a modest target of 126, Sooryavanshi produced a composed yet aggressive innings to register his maiden international half-century.
