Some students at Carrington College Dunedin have been asked to self-isolate amid an increase in winter illness, with one requiring the attention of an ambulance.
A spokesperson for Hato Hone St John confirmed they were called out to Heriot Row, North Dunedin on the afternoon of 22 July, and sent one ambulance.
"One person was assessed and treated at the scene and did not require transportation to hospital."
A spokesperson for the University of Otago said the number of cases they were seeing was typical for this time of year.
