The towering pop idol stopped by NBC ‘s The Tonight Show on Thursday, June 25 for the debut TV performance of his latest tune, “My Body Isn’t Ready.” Wearing a body-hugging sparkly number, the New York native literally commanded the spotlight with his backing band in support. Sombr (real name: Shane Boose) turned to his socials for some insights into his new song. “I hope this song can mean different things to different people,” he writes. “It can be taken as a metaphor. Or it can be taken literally as a description of how I have perceived my own body, for my whole life. I wanted to write about my struggle so that other people who may also be struggling know that they are not alone.
