Somalia Receives Credentials of New EU Ambassador László Máthé

Mogadishu, 19 September 2026 Somalia's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hassan Mohamed Ali, on Saturday received copies of the credentials of incoming European Union Ambassador to Somalia, László Máthé, the Ministry said. Máthé also presented the letter of recall of his predecessor, Francesca Di Mauro, formally marking the transition to a new EU Ambassador, according to the ministry.
