JAMMU: A 27-year-old Army jawan died after accidentally slipping from a height near the Line of Control (LoC) in J&K’s Rajouri district on Wednesday.The deceased, Rifleman Sukhpreet Singh, was a native of Punjab and posted with JAK Rifles. He was on duty at Mahadev forward post in Sunderbani sector when he suddenly lost his balance and fell from a height, officials said.The body was shifted to a hospital for post-mortem. Police launched inquest proceedings.
