Alessandro Circati has officially signed with Portuguese giants SL Benfica after a $33 million transfer move from Italy's Parma.
Circati has signed a five-year deal with the Lisbon-based double European champions and joins Socceroos teammate Nestory Irankunda in the Portuguese league.
Socceroos striker Nishan Velupillay has also secured a transfer, moving from Melbourne Victory to third-tier German club FC Ingolstadt 04.
