Shane Gillis accidentally dropped an F-bomb on “Saturday Night Live” as he derailed a Dr. Seuss-inspired sketch — later apologizing for the on-air gaffe.
The 38-year-old comedian — who was hosting the NBC sketch show for the third time — played Zachary, a Seuss-looking character, tasked with stopping Sam-I-Am, played by Andrew Dismukes, from harassing his father, Mikey Day, with a platter of green eggs and ham
“Bro, it’s a non-starter. He said he doesn’t f–king geez like em,” Gillis said, tensing up as he broke character.
Gillis surprised the crowd inside Studio 8H — including himself — and “SNL” cast members with the slip-of-the-tongue remark.
“Oh no,” the comedian shouted before the audience erupted in laughter.
