Why it matters
This story may be significant to current events.
Snap is rolling out new features for younger users of Snapchat aged 13-15 years. This will allow them to create, save and show Stories and short-form Spotlight videos on a dedicated profile only visible to mutually accepted friends. This means that content from uses in this age group will no longer be shared with non-friend users on Spotlight, with this new default setting providing a more private sharing experience for younger teens. The new experience will also remove favourite counts for users under 16.
