Smart ring maker Ultrahuman to roll out biological-age model across UAE

Health tech startup Ultrahuman has partnered with the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center to develop a biological-age model for the UAE population. The initiative aims to use wearable device data to track health markers like sleep and metabolism at a national scale.
Why it matters
This marks a significant shift for wearable companies moving from consumer hardware to large-scale public health data analytics and government-integrated health monitoring.
Ultrahuman , a Bengaluru-based health tech startup best known for its smart rings, has partnered with Abu Dhabi health authorities to develop a biological-age model that it says will eventually be made available to people across the United Arab Emirates.
On Monday, Ultrahuman announced that it had signed a two-year memorandum of understanding with the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center (ADPHC) to develop and validate the model, which will combine clinical biomarkers with data from wearable devices. The partnership aims to use these signals to estimate how quickly an individual is aging and identify factors — including sleep, activity, cardiovascular health, and metabolism — that may be accelerating or slowing that process.
