Slipknot fans hit back after Marilyn Manson announced as support act for UK show

Heavy metal band Slipknot have announced a new world tour, with Marilyn Manson due to appear as a support act.

The eight-piece group, known for performing in masks, will be joined by the US rock musician during their shows at London's Wembley Stadium and multiple dates of the South American leg of the tour.

Some fans have reacted angrily to the news and said they will not attend the shows over past sexual abuse accusations against the 57-year-old.

Manson, real name Brian Warner, has always strongly denied any allegations against him.

Thousands of fans replied to an Instagram post featuring the line-up for the London gigs, which also includes metalcore band Hatebreed.
