GSU corporal Henry Ojudi was buried on Saturday in a sombre ceremony that saw his family amplify calls to the police to widen the probe seeking to unmask his killers. Ojudi was stabbed twice and hacked on the head and shoulder on August 10 at his home in Got Nyapong’ village, Bondo constituency, before the two masked attackers fled, leaving him for dead.
The officer’s burial was marked by full military honours and a 21-gun salute by a contingent of his colleagues from the General Service Unit.
He was mourned as a diligent officer who conducted his duties with dedication, discipline and a focus on results. Ojudi was posted to the GSU headquarters at the time of his death.
