Andhra Pradesh has proposed six sector-specific industrial parks under the Centre’s Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana (BHAVYA) in its first phase, with the State completing the prescribed process and submitting all proposals to the Union government for appraisal and selection, Industries and Commerce Minister T.G. Bharath said in the Assembly on Thursday.
Replying to a question raised by Gajuwaka MLA and TDP State president Palla Srinivasa Rao on the fourth and concluding day of the ongoing Monsoon Session, Mr. Bharath said the six proposals were submitted through the prescribed BHAVYA process and were currently under consideration by the Government of India under the challenge route.
