Six fishermen were rescued from the fishing boat that capsized in the Panchagangavali estuary near Gangolli Fishing Harbour in Udupi district.
According to reports reaching here, the fishing boat got stuck in the water current in the estuary and started sinking. Fishermen in the vicinity rushed and saved the six fishermen in the boat. They also pulled the affected boat to the harbour; however valuables, including fishing net etc., were lost.
