Six fake doctors arrested in Hyderabad

Hyderabad police have arrested six individuals for posing as doctors and providing medical treatment without valid qualifications. The suspects, some of whom were former compounders, operated clinics across the Secunderabad zone.

Hyderabad Police apprehended six people who allegedly posed as doctors and treated people without holding any valid medical qualification. Five of them had earlier worked as compounders. Three of them posed as specialist doctors like paediatrician and dermatologist.
They were caught during raids by the City Police Commissioner’s Task Force along with personnel from Ramgopalpet, Chilkalguda, OU City and Domalguda Police Stations, conducted in various parts of Secunderabad Zone.
The accused allegedly provided medical treatment to patients, including administering IV fluids, injections and prescribed medicines, as per a press note issued on Tuesday.
