State Police Chief Ravada A. Chandrasekhar formally passed the order based on instructions issued by the State government.
The SIT will be headed by U. Preman, Commandant, KAP IV Battalion, Mangattuparamba. He will be assisted in the investigation by A.P. Asad, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Kannur City.
