SIR digitisation reaches 18% in Secunderabad Cantonment, political parties briefed on exercise

The Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) has completed the distribution of enumeration forms to all electors as part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, with around 18% of the data digitised so far, said SCB Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Arvind Kumar Dwivedi.
Mr. Dwivedi chaired an all-party meeting at the office of the Cantonment Election Returning Officer on Monday (July 13, 2026) to review the progress of the SIR exercise and address issues raised during the revision process. Representatives of major political parties also attended the meeting.
“The meeting was held to discuss any issues related to the Special Intensive Revision. We explained the challenges from our side, and whatever concerns were raised were resolved. Political parties were also requested to extend their cooperation to ensure the smooth completion of the exercise,” he said.
