SIR: another pre-printed Form 7 surfaces, fuelling apprehensions about larger conspiracy

Concerns regarding a potential conspiracy to bulk-delete voters have intensified in Telangana following the discovery of pre-printed Form 7 applications. Election authorities are investigating the source of these forms as the deadline for objections approaches.
Why it matters
The integrity of electoral rolls is fundamental to democratic processes, and allegations of organized voter suppression are significant political issues.
Apprehensions about a larger conspiracy behind the applications for bulk deletion of voters as part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls 2026 found validation in another pre-printed Form 7 surfacing in Bahadurpura constituency on Friday.
The form, which is sourced from the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee, seems all prepared to be filed, with the voter’s name and his address printed on the form rather than handwritten. However, the applicant’s name is missing on the form, which confirms that it was not submitted.
The first instance of bulk Form 7s in Hyderabad surfaced on October 1, 2026, in Musheerabad constituency. Pre-printed applications were alleged to have been filed by a Booth Level Agent of Bharatiya Janata Party seeking deletion of a total 31 electors, who included a Congress party’s BLA and his family members.
