Single-window system launched for Ganesh pandal organisers in Nellore

The Vikrama Simhapuri Ganesh Utsava Samiti has introduced a single-window registration system for Ganesh pandal organizers in Nellore. This initiative aims to streamline the permitting process and improve infrastructure for upcoming festival celebrations and idol immersions.
Why it matters
The implementation of a single-window system simplifies administrative hurdles for local community organizers, reflecting improved municipal coordination for large-scale cultural events.
The ‘Vikrama Simhapuri Ganesh Utsava Samiti’ was constituted to unite all those organising Ganesh festivities in Nellore under a single platform during a meeting of Ganesh pandal organisers convened here on Wednesday. The committee will inaugurate its office at TVS Kalyana Sadan in Shivaji Centre on Trunk road in the city on Saturday (September 5, 2026).
“Vinayaka Chavithi celebrations, which were previously conducted without even basic infrastructure for immersion, are currently held with extensive arrangements, featuring comprehensive infrastructure at Penna Ghat (on the banks of Penna River) and Ganesh Ghat at Nellore Tank in the city,” said the committee president Kondapalli Srikanth.
