During a domestic flight from the Gold Coast to Melbourne on Thursday, David Hammond gave passengers an extra dose of in-flight entertainment.

The hilarious clip being shared on Instagram shows cabin manager Mr Hammond, belting out a rendition of Tina Turner's 1984 hit What's Love Got to Do With It?'

While some passengers in view appear disengaged, others are swaying, clapping along and joining in.

Several travellers also filmed the moment in which Mr Hammond, who has worked for Virgin for more than three years, picks up the in-flight intercom receiver and uses it as a makeshift microphone.
