The 67-year-old woman had been crossing a road in Taichung on Sept 16 when a bus making a right turn knocked her down and ran over her, trapping her under the vehicle.

Listen SINGAPORE – A Singaporean woman has died at a hospital in Taiwan, two days after she was struck and run over by a bus during a family vacation there .

The China Medical University Hospital , where the 67-year-old was being treated, confirmed her death to The Straits Times on Sept 18.

Taiwanese media outlet Focus Taiwan reported earlier in the day that she had died from her injuries, with the hospital saying its medical team had made every effort to save her, including by providing intensive care.
