Singapore to roll out haze subsidies at GP clinics, polyclinics from Oct 12

Singapore's Ministry of Health is activating a haze subsidy scheme starting October 12 to help citizens manage health conditions caused by deteriorating air quality. Eligible residents can receive subsidized treatment at polyclinics and participating Public Health Preparedness Clinics.
Why it matters
This policy addresses the public health impact of transboundary haze, ensuring affordable access to medical care during environmental crises.
Eligible Singaporeans will pay no more than S$10 for treatment of haze-related conditions, said the Ministry of Health.
