Singapore grants conditional approvals to import solar power from Malaysia
Singapore's Energy Market Authority has granted conditional approval for the import of 900MW of solar power from Malaysia. The projects, led by Sembcorp and Southern Solar Alliance, are expected to begin operations by 2029 as part of decarbonization efforts.

The projects will supply power generated from solar and battery energy storage systems in Johor.
