KARACHI - The Sindh government has decided to organize sports events, flag-hoisting ceremonies and cake-cutting ceremonies across all divisions and districts of the province on the occasions of Independence Day and Defence Day. A key meeting was held under the chairmanship of Sindh Sports and Youth Affairs for Sardar Muhammad Bux Mahar regarding the organisation of sports events across the province on Independence Day (14 August) and Defence Day (6 September). Secretary Sports Munawar Ali Mahesar and Director Sports Asad Ishaq gave a detailed briefing to the provincial minister about the arrangements. During the meeting, the Sindh Sports Minister directed all District Sports Officers (DSOs) and relevant officials to complete all arrangements immediately to commemorate the Independence Day and Defence Day celebrations with national spirit and enthusiasm.
