SiliconAndhra to attempt three Guinness record

The organization SiliconAndhra is preparing for its silver jubilee celebrations in California, where it will attempt to set three new Guinness World Records. The event will feature mass cultural performances and aims to promote Telugu language and heritage among the global diaspora.

Guinness World Records adjudicator Michael Empric will adjudicate three world record attempts during SiliconAndhra’s silver jubilee celebrations at the Oakland Arena in California on July 31 and August 1, writer Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad said on Sunday.
Addressing a press conference at the Hindi Department in Andhra University, Mr. Prasad, who has been invited as the guest of honour for the celebrations, said that three Guinness World Record attempts— Sangita Amrutavarshini , Laya Amrutavarshini and Sataka Sankharavam— would be attempted before an audience of more than 15,000 people.
