NEW DELHI: Delhi recorded its worst air quality of the season at 187 Sunday, slipping to the higher end of the ‘moderate’ category. However, at least 19 monitoring stations recorded a poor AQI during the day. Experts warn that winter conditions like slower winds will cause more polluted days.A higher AQI of 246 in the ‘poor’ category was last witnessed on July 24 due to transboundary dust from Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan moving towards northwest India.At 4pm, the 24-hour average AQI stood at 187, down from a 10am peak of 196.
