SightGlass Vision Reports 2 Million Children Worldwide Have Worn Dot Spectacle Lenses

SightGlass Vision announced that 2 million children have now used its Dot spectacle lenses for myopia control. Clinical data indicates the lenses significantly slow myopia and axial length progression in children.
Why it matters
As childhood myopia rates rise globally, non-invasive spectacle-based treatments are becoming a critical tool for long-term eye health management.
SightGlass Vision announced that 2 million children worldwide have now worn its Dot spectacle lenses for myopia control, reaching the milestone less than a year after the company surpassed 1 million wearers.
According to SightGlass, the milestone reflects growing adoption of spectacle-based approaches to childhood myopia management. Dot lenses use the company's Diffusion Optics Technology, an approach designed to manage retinal contrast while providing vision correction.
"Two million children in Dot lenses is a powerful reminder of why we do this work, and a testament to the need for this safe and effective myopia control treatment," Andrew Sedgwick, CEO of SightGlass Vision, said in a company statement. "We're proud that so many eye care professionals trust Dot lenses to correct their young patients' vision today and help reduce future eye health risks."
