Siddipet court imposes fines worth ₹5.71 lakh on 74 motorists for traffic violations

According to the Siddipet Traffic Police, inspections carried out over the past five days resulted in 40 motorists being booked for driving under the influence of alcohol and 34 others for driving without a valid driving licence.
The offenders were produced before the Siddipet Special Second Class Judicial Magistrate, Kantharao, who imposed fines amounting to ₹4,05,500 on 40 drunk driving offenders and ₹1,65,500 on 34 motorists found driving without a licence.
