According to the police, on August 6, two men snatched a 6.5-sovereign gold chain from G. Saraswathi (44), a resident of Dalmiya Board while she was headed to a grocery shop in a two-wheeler. Previously, on March 26 2026, two men snatched two sovereign gold chain at knifepoint from C. Manikandan (30), while he was in a car at Poonai Karadu near Mallamooppampatti.
