Show HN: I built a Markdown and raw HTML blog platform scoring 99 on PageSpeed
Bloffy is a new blogging platform that prioritizes performance and developer control by allowing users to write in raw Markdown and HTML. The service emphasizes high PageSpeed scores, custom CSS styling, and a privacy-first approach that eliminates cookies and third-party tracking.
Why it matters
As web bloat becomes a growing concern for SEO and user experience, Bloffy offers a lightweight alternative for creators who want technical performance without the maintenance overhead of self-hosting.
All Bloffy adds to a reader's page is one small 3.2KB script. You decide whether to run ads, which analytics to use, and which domain to publish on.
Write freely in the editor. Plain text carries no semantics. Block editors make semantics hard to express.
Bloffy is designed so that Markdown, HTML, CSS and JavaScript let you express exactly the semantics you intend.
